Strong Arm Robbery

On Sunday, March 22, 2015, Patrolman Robert Young Jr. responded to the Frenchtown IGA for a reported theft. Upon arrival, patrol met with a 91 year old female, who related that an unknown subject pulled her purse off of her shoulder and took off running. There was a witness who took off after the suspect. A search of the area was with negative results. The victim was not hurt and the total dollar amount in the purse was $20.00.

Description of the suspect is as follows: White male, dark blue jeans, green sweat jacket with hood on his head, 5′ 10″, 170 lbs, 19-20 years of age, slim build with no facial hair. If anyone has information, please contact the Frenchtown Police at 908-996-2341. The Hunterdon County Crime Stoppers have posted a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Spreading Christmas Joy

Christmas 2014 Collins 006On 12/24/14 the Frenchtown Police Department brought Christmas Joy to the Collin’s Family. Edward (EJ) was given a new bicycle, a new Police/Fire scanner and then as a surprise was taken to Country Arch Rest Home to spend some time with his father.
