January 16, 2019 –
I wanted to make you aware of two important meetings occurring on Wednesday, January 16th.
At 6 PM, the Borough Council will host a special meeting in which representatives on behalf of Country Classics will provide an update regarding the environmental cleanup that is occurring at the old ceramics mill (Plessy).
At 7:30 PM, the Planning Board will host their annual reorganization meeting as well as hear from the new owner of the former River Mills property. The new owner is proposing some changes to the River Mills project to make the development more economically viable as well as provide a pathway forward for project completion. Some of the proposed changes will require Planning Board approval but ultimately I am very encouraged that there is a pathway forward to completing this project.
Both meetings will occur at Frenchtown Borough Hall (29 Second Street).
