April 5, 2014 –
We need your help at the annual Frenchtown Park Community Clean-Up Day. On Saturday, April 5th, from 9am to noon, you are invited to share in revitalizing the Frenchtown Park and the adjacent Mill Race Nature Trail. We will be spreading mulch, refilling the sandbox, cleaning debris from the creek bank, clearing weeds and leaves from the landscape beds, and continuing maintenance of the nature trail. Come ready to get dirty and wear long pants and gloves. Gardening and yard tools such as loppers, pruners, rakes, pitch forks, shovels, wheel barrows and mattocks would be appreciated. There will be snacks and pizza following the clean-up.
Any questions, please contact Parks and Recreation Commissioner Cathy Leach @ firstname.lastname@example.org or Green Team Member Sarah Ruppert @ 908-996-4471.
