Hydrants to be flushed next week

Starting Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9, New Jersey American Water, the company that supplies drinking water to Frenchtown, will be flushing the hydrants in town.

The company said that customers may notice some cloudy or discolored water or reduced pressure in the lines. If you do, they advise opening a cold water faucet that is closest to the point where water enters your home and allow it to flow for five to ten minutes.

If you experience a problem that doesn’t clear up or have any other concerns, please call NJAW customer service at 800-652-6987.
