UPDATED: If you’ve never visited Frenchtown during October, you may not know about our annual Halloween parade! This year’s parade begins at 7:00 on Saturday, October 26, starting at the Frenchtown Bridge and ending at the American Legion on Harrison and 6th Street. Kids of all ages can compete for best costume awards by registering at the American Legion between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. You must register to be eligible for a prize. The parade will beginning lining up at 6:30 at the Frenchtown Bridge and at 7:00 will proceed north on Harrison Street, ending at the judging stand in front of the American Legion. Following judging, costumed participants are welcome to stay and enjoy cider and refreshments at the American Legion.
More Halloween Fun!
Start the Halloween fun early! Come on by the Lovin’ Oven at 62A Trenton Ave. (Route 29) in Frenchtown on Saturday, 10/26, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for tons of family fun! Frenchtown’s favorite face painter, Man-e-Faces, will be setting up on the lawn to transform your little ones into their favorite characters, animals or spooky ghouls, while we invite everyone to grab a pumpkin to paint in any way you like!
Halloween Trick-or-Treating will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2013, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Frenchtown Police Officers and Frenchtown’s CERT team will be walking around assisting with crossing the streets. Be safe and have fun!
