Frenchtown Clean Up Day

There will be a $10.00 charge for EACH of the following: Rugs (9×12 or larger or greater than 100 sq. ft.), box springs, mattresses & upholstered furniture. If any of the above items do not have a sticker attached, they will not be hauled away. Stickers can be purchased at Borough Hall on Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM.

Funding limits amounts that can be picked up per household. Piles greater than a pick-up truck load may be bypassed by the hauler.

Items not picked up: paint,solvents,tires,liquids,freezers,airconditioners,dehumidifiers, stoves dishwashers, dryers, washing machines, hot water heaters or building materials longer than 4 feet.

Items may be place on the curb for pick up no more than 3 days prior to Clean Up Day.

Other Important Borough Information
Curbside leaf (NOT BRUSH) pick up will be made ONLY from 11/1/13 thru 11/30/13 Please Note: The Borough has a local ordinance prohibiting residents from putting piles of brush and leaves in the street at any other time of the year. AND brush debris or building materials should NEVER be placed in the weekly trash pick-up.

Curbside Christmas Tree pick up will be made from 1/2/14 thru 1/31/14 ONLY.

Brush and leaves may be recycled at the recycling center on Route 29 on the last Satur- day of every month from 9:00 AM to noon. NEW — The Borough has expanded brush drop-off hours — weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays.

Frenchtown Farmer’s Market Open Through October!
The Frenchtown Farmer’s Market will be open every Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next to Kathee’s General Store through October 27th. Stop by and partake in some of the best local produce and artisan products in the area!!

Frenchtown Shred Day Scheduled — Saturday, October 26th
Bring your paper materials to Old Frenchtown Field between 9 a.m. and noon to be shred- ding and recycled in a safe and secure manner.
