Frenchtown Borough Park

On Saturday, April 5, more than 50 volunteers from Frenchtown and neighboring communities pitched in to clean up the Frenchtown Borough Park.  Sarah Ruppert of the Frenchtown Green Team organized the event and led the volunteers in clearing the Mill Race Trail, raking and mulching the garden beds and playground area, and collecting trash and debris from all around the park.

Volunteers enjoyed pizza donated by the Frenchtown Lions Club, bottled water provided by the Frenchtown Market, and coffee donated by the Bridge Café.  Tools and supplies were donated by Frenchtown Hardware and the Home Depot and Lowe’s stores in Flemington.  The Frenchtown Department of Public Works, Frenchtown Police, and members of the Frenchtown Borough Council also supported the clean-up event.

Many thanks to Sarah and all of the volunteers and supporters for beautifying Frenchtown Borough Park for all to enjoy!
