The Frenchtown Environmental Commission is sponsoring an Earth Day Hike at the Frenchtown Preserve on Saturday, April 23rd, 10 am to 12 noon.
The nature trail at Frenchtown Preserve is a hidden treasure for nature lovers, bird watchers and hikers of all ages. Several trails traverse the ravines, woods and fields of this 150-acre hidden treasure. Explore the cedar and hardwood forests abundant with birds like pileated woodpeckers and owls; hike to farm fields to see breathtaking views of the Delaware River.
We will meet at 10:00 am at the parking lot located on Horseshoe Bend Road for a 2-hour hike through the scenic Frenchtown Preserve. Frenchtown Preserve is on Horseshoe Bend Road off of Rt 12.
Please be advised to wear appropriate footwear and bring a water bottle. Leashed dogs are welcome!
